And here’s the best part: Scarborough is just a two-hour drive from The Unit, making it an easily accessible escape.

Join us as we dive into the world of surf lessons, riding the waves like pros at Scarborough Beach. Brace yourself for an adrenaline rush with a fast-paced speed boat ride, feeling the wind in your hair and the thrill in your heart.
Challenge yourself at the outdoor inflatable course, conquering obstacles and bouncing your way to victory. Soar through the sky on exhilarating zip lines, taking in breathtaking views and feeling the rush of freedom. Embark on a wild adventure at Flamingo Land, home to thrilling rides and captivating wildlife.
Experience the joy of crabbing, discovering the fascinating creatures that dwell in the shoreline. And let’s not forget the onsite water slide and sports day!
We’re really treating you now…
We’re spoiling you – showers and toilets!! We’re heading to Spital Farm Camping Site. Nestled in the heart of nature, this picturesque campsite offers a perfect blend of tranquillity and excitement.
Pitch your tent amidst breathtaking landscapes, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views.
You’ll need to bring your own tent for sleeping in, so join up with your mates and get sorted. (let us know if you don’t have one, and we can lend you one).
We’ll be camping as a large group, and cooking/washing in small teams.
An affordable cost!
At only £180 per person, the summer camp we offer is incredible value for money. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joys of camping and adventure without breaking the bank.
With your camp fee, you gain access to a wide range of thrilling activities, transport, food, and all campsite fees paid.
Our goal is to make this summer camp accessible and affordable for all teenagers who are eager to embark on an unforgettable journey.

Every other detail
- Deposits are due by 1st July 2023
- Full/remainder payment due by Thursday 10th August
- A bus will be leaving at lunchtime to allow GCSE students to get their results in the morning, other vehicles will be leaving Thursday morning.
- Matt Downs is the Camp Leader – so email him with any questions. Other leaders will be Sid/Faye/James N/James B/Jake/Foley.
- We want to make the camp accessible for everyone, so if you are unable to make the payments before the trip, please email Sid (sid@woodseatsexplorers.org.uk) and we’ll find out a way to make sure no one misses out on the adventure.
